About Susan

Susan Goldie is an interdisciplinary artist working across layered textiles, collage, dimensional wall works, and garment-as-sculpture forms. Her practice explores the relationships between humans, nature, and the sacred through material experimentation, research into natural systems, reclaimed elements, stitching, and structural garment construction. Grounded in transformation, repair, beauty, and renewal, her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in California and internationally, including the Bioneers Conference in Berkeley and her 2026 solo exhibition, Life Patterns, at the Walnut Creek Library. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, she creates original works for exhibition and private collection. Susan’s work is held in private collections across the United States, Canada, and in Europe.
